Turn Someone’s Life Around
St Bart‘s Homeless and Transitional Support Service (HTSS) helps people develop the essential life skills they need to live independently.
People’s ability to make decisions and function as an adult is impacted by their life experiences.
For people who have grown up without love and care, basic personal care is often not second nature.
Things such as knowing to put an opened tin of baked beans in a container in the fridge; how to budget to pay the rent and bills; and the importance of personal hygiene, are things that most of us take for granted, that we learn as a natural part of growing up.
Your donation to the life skills program will be invested in equipping people with the know how to take care of themselves and reconnect with the community. Our programs cover the following areas:
-
Case management
-
Cooking and nutrition
-
Computer literacy
-
Personal care
-
Social activities
Help us to "Turn around someone's life" by donating to the Life Skills program.
Your investment will reconnect lives and help restore the dignity of some of Perth’s most vulnerable people and assist them in their endeavours to return to a productive life in the community.
